No part of Florida is currently in any error cone of impact for any current storm. There remains a high risk of rip currents and beachgoers should use caution.

At 8 am this morning, the center of Hurricane Earl is about 900 miles east-southeast of Miami with maximum sustained winds near 135 mph. Earl is expected to move northwest for the next 48 hours passing just east of the U.S. eastern seaboard later this week.

Tropical Storm Fiona is about 1,800 miles east-southeast of Miami with maximum sustained winds near 40 mph. The official forecast track takes Fiona on a similar path to Earl, but the presence of dry air and wind shear suggests Fiona may not reach hurricane intensity.
